Caught by poem surprisingly
Forgot it was my own!
In it, I found the Golden Rule
But today, forgot its tone.

So now, I put to test.

Where to plant the anger?
When to harvest crop?
If the wind carries seed away,
Where would it be dropped?

Caught by poem surprisingly;
Stunned it was my own!
Can make it honest with a wish;
Should change my whiny tone!

I wait now at the lake or walking by the bay
I wait and listen or put a seashell
to my ear and it all comes back
the wind's soft murmur..and you.

Thank you, Everyone.  Just needed a little kick in the --- to realize it.  While at work, I had a few special friends do that for me yesterday.  I appreciated what they did for me.  Inspired to write a poem to show my appreciation.

Yeah miscee,
How does that happen? I know exactly what you mean. Must be our age!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

For all the playful tone, you give us much to ponder, dear lady. *S* I like this very much... excellent write! *S*

   and to answer D. the Menace's question, it refers back to my poem, Golden " " " " " " " " " " " "    You know... the Golden Rule, twelve inches makes a rule_...  There, I was a'preaching and kinda forgot about it myself.          Thanks again.

And the reminder isn't for you. Well, okay, it's for me.
