I’ve Asked

I’ve asked the genie of my mind
To speak with me and help me find
The essence of her courts pursue
The spirit of her core to view

To hold her hand within the breeze
To stay the winds of twist and tease
To open up the door of goal
To be with her as soul to soul

And in my dreams of nightly quest
I swear by all to do my best
In place and fare and grace and care
To stay with her through foul and fair

To be with her in times to be
To sail with her this argosy
To act as one our will be done
As long as shines the sight of sun

All this I swear and pledge to you
The genie of my mind to do

This is so wonderfully written.. Very poetic and very interesting .. A good beginning with a good end.. thanks fors sharing..
