I Do Not Like I do not like to sad the day I would the sun to shine your way I would the music of the fife Bring you more a happy life I would your wiles to stay in store To stay more than a smile or more To offer you a daisy pluck To end the last on just good luck I know sometimes it’s not a choice But there’s in you an inner voice To quell the waters of the well And dip again to change the spell Yes dip once more the very spore Deep into the very core I can but offer you a sigh Since you’re the captain of your dye Be they blue or brown or green It’s you that plant the seeds of scene |
