He feels… When you meet me in my mind today Will you cry or find a need to pray? As you grab my thoughts and hold them tight Will the Darkness try to blind your Light? And the Light is never here While the Dark is what I fear What I feel is never true And I always feel for you He speaks… When you greet me face-to-face today Will you ask me, "Mike, are you okay?" As you grab my arms and hold me tight Will I finally absorb your Light? And your face is always bright While my words are never right What I speak is never true And I always speak to you He dies… When you watch me kill myself today Will you stay or will you run away? When you touch me I'll be cold and white As my Darkness now defeats your Light And my life was one of fear While your love was always near And my Darkness always lied At my death, It never died It lives... |
