The Insistent Pen

So yet again I wander,
My mind captivated by the enigma of existence;
Too beautiful to know and too vast to ponder.
For pondering is reluctantly known for its persistence.
These hills I haunt.
And if not for weary feet,
I would continue the art of pen and font.
But declare it not defeat,
For this hour I rest my somnolent eyes.
Be it not I who speaks of lonely sages.
But as the ink leisurely dries,
Weeps not the pages.
For the pen may yearn for the written art.
But exhausted is my hand,
And jaded is my heart.
No matter the time, the pen will demand.
So yet again I wander these forlorn hills,
When I leave, I know not when.
For voices, films or quills,
None are as demanding as the pen.

Edward~
I've got one of those pens !!
And a plethora of maddening muses that
just love to splash in my ink-of-think~

If I've not welcomed you before this day -
I do now~

And jaded is my heart.
No matter the time, the pen will demand.

And continue the demand even if a pen isn't handy... fingernail-created indentations work when all else fails. *S*

I like this very much... welcome!!

Much truth here,  for that dastardly pen
does have a mind of it's own....  Well
said!
