and now on this vessel of contemplation
as if it were my most precious of addictions
bounding morality through the jaggy tides

dare I consider these phantom visualizations
that have dampened my imaginations
like they were attending a wassailing man

are they but a sea of unspoken sirens
or some mystic galleon with gypsy charts
and whispering moans from wicked bedecking

or glass perhaps, from pens smoking deletions
after feeding a famished mind
where the eyes were to insatiability

as the rain was to this unquenchable ocean

I suppose, time will tell, and we are sometimes unfortuately wrapped up in times patient arms...like it or not...smiles
