across the plain sounds night’s refrain I love the sound of a coyote’s howl the night waits too long to show her face as day drags on and on and on there is something wild and free about the night like the leopard released from the zookeeper’s cage free to roam the universe her thirst assuage at day’s begone comes night’s release shackles thrown off and earthen gates ajar aye, I love the sound of a coyote’s howl |

such an eerie sound it can be but I too, love the calls of the wild things ~am enraptured by a hooting owl~ ~the rustling sound of critters crawling through the grasses~ and especially ~the cry of a loon~ thanks for sharing this |

...the coyote's howl... and the hoot of an inquisitive owl... as could be heard on a very early morning walk while the stars still gave light and the air knew cool... Saw this the other day, Tim... so glad it was bounced back up... |
