In the sky black chalk boards like walls around the earth whereon the words are writ of poets, lovers, me. They stand like a testimony and this is who I am, a woman in a lie waiting for the wings of life’s simple things to erase the agony. Birds and butterflies and time denies a heart the final and complete anthology of soul wherein the good and bad have mixed harmoniously. The slate is clean where once the script of lovers’ hearts entwined but energy in fateful mix writes new story lines, dots the “I’s’, with love, and crosses off the tears, sometime before the fall … because everything must fall before we know it all. Now this is who I am, a woman tutored, capped and gowned, in the ABC of energy where love is not expunged by life’s so very many wings of simple things! Helen / 30 August 2005 |

Thanks, Dixie, but "wisdom" is only for the wise whereas I just "theorize". |

Strongly written. Your self-portrait shows pride and strength but also vulnerablilty. Well done. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

Thank you all so much for the read. And LeeJ, wings are only meaningful if they are stretched. Mine are folded waiting ... for love! |
