Of Things Of things that happened long ago There is very little I know Of things to happen yet to come I can only guess at their sum Yet still we search for the reason The reason our stay and season The reason and the axiom For life within this atrium It makes no sense the time we have We’ve only time for just a salve To coat the skin of fragile change And stay the rules of rearrange Yet phantoms take our minds in sprawl Challenging the where with all Bits and pieces of the grime Building castles of our time And time and sand will art the sun And we’ll be back to start as one |
