Again
Across the street
In soft blue light
The white house
Almost hidden by the trees

The final firefly
Briefly glows
A dog’s barking
Crickets chirping in the reeds

Perhaps together
In silent pairs
There are sparrows sleeping
Under its wooden eaves—

How sad
That small star
That keeps its distance
From the moon

Perhaps together
In silent pairs
There are sparrows sleeping
Under its wooden eaves—

the volumn of this keeps me sooooo balanced
over rippeled waters with wing muscles...incredibly tugging me into a calligraphy of soft smiles warming my heart...

can you tell I loved this?

betcha can't

I have missed reading you. *S* This is wonderful... I'm THERE as I read... not in this cubicle. *S*
