sometimes in the nines
with broken knees I kneel
an orphan's prayer in hand
to deposit on godless windows

from the nymphet’s soup and
a satyr's spoon was stirred
this frolic of hangman's hunger
for the smooth skinned tree

with her willing receptacle
and enough wind for the jig
when spins the sod below me
on that final ride of time

and the padre's babbling lies

And you, dark one, cook up a mighty fine alphabet soup of your own!!

You do have a way
of making one feel
that between the lines
lay unread novels...
