Now, Then, Again You asked me if I would marry you then… and then… again… so I looked beneath a river’s flow of years below our feet, where there were seasons we faced anew then, for a time toward now… Again… The trust never rusted, although faith was tested, and even though we slept, we never rested on laurels even when we could. We grew into one another, like moss on oak, as I always knew your true north, while you picked me up in my east, west and south, and allowed me my dreams… for even as I understand your strengths, and shelter your weaknesses… Please, know, Now, then, again, I do. ~*~ Happy Renewal… Love, Karilea June 11, 2005 |
