I Search … ~*Marge Tindal*~ I search but do not find you in the muddled puddle of memories Where have you gone for oh so long And why did you have to go ? In cob-webbed corners of my mind I seek, I search, but do not find threads of us still entwined Where, oh where love have you gone ? Dusty bunnies of retreat, ‘neath beds attired in satin sheets, sneak a peek of used-to-be when you were right here with me~ How I long for you I toss … then turn Where, oh where love have you gone ? Where, oh where are the arms of you that held me close and warm? I need the all of you, my love to keep me safe from harm Where, oh where love have you gone ? ~Bears no resemblance to the author~ *Just the insistent ink of an overactive muse* ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
