Into The Subconscious I sometimes think that people are going to find me out... discover the real me, and they won't like the real me, even I won't like what I'm really about. Some situations are a test of character, a study of want and desire... Someone is in observation of the measure of your response and will respond accordingly as the situation transpires. After a long time (job, guests and holidays, so busy!), I peek in here into our beautiful blue pages and find this intrigueing title of your poem, which certainly deserves to be appreciated and commented. Our subconscious is fascinating and the potential discoveries and powers we find there, might, as you see, even frighten us. But we overcome fear just by facing the source of anxiety. To look deep into our core, makes us stronger I believe. Even to know our weaknesses is good, so we can better "work" on them. In each of us there are characteristics that we might not approve of, but it's the wholeness of our being that "makes us what we are" and when we are able to accept what we are, to love ourselves with all our characteristics, we will also be able to love others in the same way and they in their turn will love us the way we are. On this basis we will also be able to discover the divine greatness that slumbers within each of us and only waits to be found under all the layers of fear and to be applied in our lives and in our relationships. Thank you dear James, for this significant food for thought. Love, Margherita |

I don't think I can expound on Margherita's comment... she said it all. Excellent insight, James. |
