When writing poetry Sometimes you got the knack But other times you wonder I am I really good at that When you share your poetry You are happy if you just Get 1 or 2 people To read the poem you wrote Sometimes you think you wrote The best poem ever And that is the one That gets no posts Sometimes you think you wrote The worst poem ever And that is the one Everybody commends you on Writing poetry Is the one thing I love to do I don't care if only 1 or 2 Like my work It is that 1 or 2 That keep me writing Poetry is beauty in words. |

Anyone can tell you love to write Julie.. And if you're pleased with the poem.. it really doesn't matter how many comment. There are days I read every single post here. Hi Julie. I didn't recognize your name. You are so right in this poem. Some of the poems I write that I think are really good, don't get many responses at all. Then, one I think could have been a lot better, gets loads of comments. Hard to figure out, sometimes, huh? But, I love to write, too, so I just keep on writing. Hugs,  |

hey Julie, I think that's what happens more often than you might imagine, that you post what you feel is a defining write *a masterpiece* only to have it fall by the roadside, and you watch in horror as your bit of fluff sails to the top  good to read you again, Julie some days, it's enough to make you want to toss the keyboards and monitor into the dumpster and then again, there is always tomorrow? |
