Beyond the far horizon, Beyond the distant lea, Higher than the highest mountain, Is where I long to be. To soar amongst the stars above, To sail celestial sea, With Orion at the helm, Is where I yearn to be. Up beyond the Southern Cross, Further yet past Luna's glow, That is the place I yearn to be, To where I long to go. I stand alone a mortal being, beneath night's welkin sky, Gazing up to where I long, To where I yearn to fly. |
