Can’t Elope Last night’s moon was melon lush with just a hint of haze making spongy clarity shine and two stars hung, south to north around that almost-gold-hung light ~ a linear line of sun was hanging slightly yet still, just before her fall off the horizon when neighbor’s starry windows started to peak. ~*~ I turned to you, on that day, a depth of well what now while eyes were misting, not because allergies resplendent hung with the ragweed and thistledown… but maybe, that seasonal emotion that plays strings and tempest and heart’s accord… as some buzz of life sings within the summer sin of grasses, skies, watching time. |

A hint of humor in a wash of romance. A tender touch from a sentimental heart. It can't get better than that. Nice to meet you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
