Broken Heart and Bruises By Paul Wilson The choice hers too make...stay or go Stay and the pain and lies won't end Go and her heart will surely break Today he says... I'm sorry again How many beatings can she take? How many lies must she believe? Long sleeves and makeup hide the bruises Nothing can hide the pain you leave She spends her life in fear of you Memories she'd rather not recall Who will pick up the pieces She feels like a shattered porcelain doll This merry go round that she's on Keeps spinning out of control One day everything is just fine The next day you are so cold She's made the only choice she can She must leave you and walk away If she stays with you any longer Your anger might kill her one day It's hard to love someone That always lies and abuses you It's harder too leave someone That you love...but doesn't love you The Sun will shine on her again She'll find someone else you'll see She had no choice but too leave Today from you she is finally free ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (03-13-2005 12:44 AM).] |

Paul, I know someone as well....one who struggles to be loved, enduring the hate and the pain....leaving it briefly, only to return again....such a struggle, and so so many heartaches...for all who love them, truly love them. |
