Silence, beating Beating Beating The after taste of evening Invokes the activist in you Fearless Interpreter What I asked for Whining in my voice Leaving me limp Unashamed Energy pulsing… The compassion The passion Driving us So sure So sure, I hid behind blinds Fear wrestling my soul Shaking the wanton We wrestled…hard and long Vibrating souls Listening to childproof layers Peeling away Floating in stratum Trembling, shaking Where dewy mist hovers Hovers like the loss Falling Falling Falling Oh God! Ripping the path of forgetting Ripping night’s veil Thinking athwart 3 minds of universal obscurity Unbridled by night lights Transparent white sheets riding Through the air Crept into my sixth sense Stealing into my soul… Into my whole being Utter solace becomes me, You, sitting in your study Tiny white curve, sticking out of your mouth Fascination held in check Held my safeguard While kissing my neck Slowly becoming your liquor cabinet I understood the name naive The target, dragging me away I was not yours Not then, not ever Startled by the sound of my body landing Where did you come from? Why did you leave? Deep breath rushing out of it Like a handful of burning coals Billowing, scorching Searing the edges of my photograph Forever….forever |
