The Manifest It manifest itself by chance Through the inkling of a glance That lit a light unto my mind And brought to me a memory find It touched the embers of a fire Brought again a strong desire Stimulating taste and smell The spirit of a past I dwell It took me far away from home A place where I and love once roam A field of green an Eden scene A place of preen a lovely queen And in this core of space and place I warmed my heart within its grace And sipped upon this wine of dine Until the moon was in decline And in the mornings wash of dew I shed a tear this touch of you |
