Sitting alone in the dead of night Watching the snow melt Thinking of you Wondering Hoping Watching the denizens of the night As they ward of the moonburns Wrapped heavily in the coats Of their own failures As I sit here surrounded by my own Marinating in the stench Caused by my dreams of holding you Loving you Again There is no personal fact to this... anymore. This was inspired by Sserenity Blaze's response to Ratleader's request for the lamest poem we've written. Something about "If wishes were fishes mine would smell bad" Ratleader's post can be found at: /pip/Forum29/HTML/001837.html In the wooden chair Beside my window I wear a face born in the falling rain [This message has been edited by Ringo (03-06-2005 07:48 AM).] |

*laughing* I'm glad one of my lame ass moments could be found inspiring, B. I enjoyed this much, and hey? I'm glad to be of service, and if you can get this from a lame ass title of mine, feel free to hit the archives for more. Unfortunately I've plenty there, just waiting for some alchemy. Well done bro. |

Sadly,,,it seems love often ends in the failure of sitting alone,,missing the feeling of the loved one next to you,,,even when they are in the next room. nice scribble An "M" shaped pancake,,,the things he does to make me smile,,,,,,,, |

Liked your clever wording to bring home the serious stuff in a very palatable manner! ~sadie |
