Dreams of a Lady |

Might I drift in dreams Float in flowered water of spring Travel where ever goes the river; Would it take me far To the land where beauty sings As they dip into the water. Might not some lady With soft skin the color of milk And long dark braided hair, Would she on shore Sit with me in her dress of silk Taking time enough to share Till I wake At daybreak.
