The wings of heaven floated down,
Gaining earthly colors, some brilliant
Others of singular, simple quality
But their fragile wings were the same
Upon a fragrance of nature’s winds.

Darting up and down prancing wildly,
Humanity gazed upon their dance,
Watching the performance of peaceful
Tranquil gyrations, soothing the mind,
Sometimes bringing a meditative state.

The wings of butterflies floated up,
Disappearing bleached white shadows,
Spreading wings among the heavens
Singing in a spiritualistic revival
As sunrise fell upon its sunset song.

From the darkness the sky did blossom
Enlightened from a glow of serenity.
The stars twinkled among the clarity
Of peaceful contemplations, sighing
Upon a soft bed facing the heavens.

The wings of a guardian floated down,
To awaken the poet’s words, from dreams
As brilliance as the waves upon the oceans
Reaching the shores in harmonic rhythms,
Orchestrating with limbs, leaves levitating.

Wild flowers swayed as a guardian hovered,
The poet’s eyes creating magic upon paper,
Stimulated free verse of heaven and earth,
Divinity of a gift that un-cripples the mind,
As they daydream, dozing off peacefully.

The wings of a spirit floated up,
Evaporating mist under the sun’s glare,
Loosing gravities earthly limitations
Upon prayers of rainbows and haloes,
She did watch over her adopted ones.

Upon a ray of sunshine, she did bless them,
Cuddling they moved in hidden acceptance,
Sending a message of support, angel express.
Inside a dream package so special, its message,
Awoke them to a rushing paper of love.

The wings of a hope floated down,
Its message misting upon the winds of time.
Refreshing rejuvenation, spring shower’s glow,
Purity of compassion for humanities purpose,
Neighbors respecting the diversity of difference.

Storming dark shadows, seek to blame others
Because of their religion, color, or creed,
Making war on their fellow human beings,
Taking away rights, that God blessed a world with,
Laws imprisoning other into exiled homes.

The wings of tears floated up,
The pain a heavy burden for a butterfly angel
Reaching the gates of heaven, she sighed.
Saying, “Thank you Lord for deciding
Who may enter these heavenly gates.

For humanities judges and juries would exile
Almost all people to the army of the devil!
That one mistake would send them to hell,
Even if you Lord blessed them with your love.
Purify my reentry, so I can watch over,
Poet’s words.”

While below God, blessed the poet’s tears,
Saying, “Butterfly Angel, you are so pure,
These gates will be forever open for you
And those whose words seek the magic of
Heaven and earth seeking peace and tranquility.”

I can feel this soft touch ... beautifully rendered.

And Ethel, yes, your lovely graphic fits perfectly.

DYL, a divinely stirring piece of poetry! I was captivated from beginning to end!

This stanza was especially inspirational:

"The wings of a hope floated down,
Its message misting upon the winds of time.
Refreshing rejuvenation, spring shower’s glow,
Purity of compassion for humanities purpose,
Neighbors respecting the diversity of difference."

I do believe that this may be my absolute favourite of yours that I have had the priviledge of reading!

EA
