Brick by brick laid down years ago, gone unused, who knows how long, the old chimney knows only heat of summer from outside in, and bares the coldest winters well… Where birds have found a nesting device when, in the spring, in the spring, fluttering of wings are heard from a baby who fell through… In the chimney of intention the wings sink, and one wonders the why of fluffy feathers. ~*~ I've been told my muse went south... so I had to resort to some instant musings... http://www.webcom.com/wordings/artofwrite/poetrygenerator.html |
