T’is aeon’s since mine quest began And long since departure With the loss of love in life. Manys’ the tortuous road since travelled Afore thine path did cross with mine. E’re since that meeting of chance This Errant Knights thoughts consume, That Dear Lady you mayst grant a boon. One night, one hour, one moment Embrace me in thine bosom afore I die. Mine quest too long in the making And spanning life’s spring thru autumn, Hast been far from straight and narrow And as the twilight of a coming winter draws near There is now cause to hasten completion. If you would grant this Errant Knight thine boon T’is in your arms I would recline For thee to climb up behind mine eyes and see love. From therein cast yourself upon my mind So that our shadows may tremble in the candlelight. Thence come, follow the moon with me Till the sunlight breaks the morn For that moment, that hour, that night I am and you are, for that will be enough And the glass shall bear shadows no more. |

Time hast taken its toll aging this face that waits for return of mine Knight. To climb up behind thine eyes, to see love as love shouldst be viewed To feel the sunlight break the morn in arms of warmth knowing, Spring follows the coldness of Winter and Winter paths traveled together will forge a union, shadows to become one in the swaying of candlelight reflections. This My Lord, is more than a Lady, Your Lady could ask for. I shall be waiting, however the length of time for that moment ...when. Lady Ollyne |

And so I went looking for more of your words and I find myself flung back again into history. I may never want to leave what I believe must have been a wonderful era for knights and ladies walking hand in hand in a forest perhaps. Okay - back long enough to bid you welcome. I find your words captivating! |
