If Vincent were here today he would be watching ~Anime~ and loving every moment intensity soul art all wrapped up into ~Kenshin~ or any other form of modern art and oh, how he would paint the sky in colors you and I could FEEL I am talking FEEL.... the real of BLUE or the heat of RED or ORANGE... and the GREY of a dawn that makes you feel a chill oh... If only Vincent could feel the real of today ~HE~ would paint the skies and the sun the moon and the sunflowers in vibrant living colors and you would never ever forget. |

Yes, he would do that, and then cut off his other ear... in passion... totally taken by what he felt internally, knowing he needed to bring it externally. You are so in TUNE! Gads, we need to sit down at the kitchen table. |

"If Vincent were here today he would be watching ~Anime~" This is a great poetic statement in its entirety, but the opening struck me. I have often wondered where some artists would be drawn if they were alive today. For examples, Vincent and Anime; another would be Blake and a color Xerox machine; or, Michealangelo and a battery of programable color strobes. |

Now am singing that song in my head about Vincent - he was an amazing and sad man - have you ever read the fictionalized biography of him? Can't think of the title off hand - but it was based on fact - truly enjoyable - fascinating ![]() If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |
