Each day when I lift up my head the weight begins its leave. Struggling to meet the meet of what there's to achieve. Even there within my heart letting go keeps score. Presses me, distresses me this shutting of the door. Years and years of what there was to now what would have been From night to mourn and morn to night untitled poems spin. Erasing then, allowing now tomorrows entering Finding you in shadows name the warmth of arms to bring. And so imagining, do I the all of what could be Rainbow bends in wrap around the ageless wants of me. The wind today will touchmedown mosaic set designed. The puzzling of whatcomesnext prevailing dreams to find. I write to feel and feel to write to break the bounds of time Surrendering the wisdom learned this heart, today in rhyme. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Hey there Maureen. Marge and I think this one is worth a bump around for another read. She showed it to me and I like the thoughts. How are things with you? We are doing great and have the yard back in shape after the hurricanes. Lots of new flowers we've put in. You gals need to come back down for a visit. -Bill |

Poignant and heartfelt as you move so fluidly through these difficult states... and the more we write, the more deeply we feel, and in feeling may we write ~P |

Ms. Bliss A most excellent read for me this morning, for reasons unknown, but are they? Perhaps it is the slow passing of winter that is the "erasing" of then...and the acceptance of it lingering the allowed now... "Erasing then, allowing now tomorrows entering Finding you in shadows name the warmth of arms to bring." The "shadows name" perhaps is spring? I see images in this poem of deep emotion, that are like vapors, which have been changed into substances touchable only by the readers mind...Good poetry.. ___________ice/ford ><> |

You're breakin' my heart! You are writing a lot of sadness. How about a smile? JL |
