Even the sturdiest blade of grass can be trampled once too often crushed beneath the uncaring boot it will harden and never soften So tread if you must upon my heart shatter my trust like glass but remember I am not a rock I am but a blade of grass |

True enough, but even the tenderest of grass always come back - and always is stronger. Happy Valentine's Day With Love |

Sharon, I understand this, so well. Once the trust is shattered, it is so hard to trust, again. Thank you for sharing this with us. |

I distinctly remember a Karen Father story about breaking the plants to make them stronger... and Duncan proved the story to be true.. "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |

Grass is stronger in numbers... Let there be lawns...It'll be turning green again in these parts very, very soon... Enough of that hibernation stuff... I like your analogy, Sharon... |

Yup, tender are your blades and deep and strong are your roots. A good analogy of you indeed. Peace. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Excellent...reminds me of some words of appreciation from Yao Ming, a Chinese Chicago Bulls basketball player..."How can a single blade of grass thank the sun."...James |

This looks like a keeper to send to those who practice "putdown humor" that one gets very weary of hearing. Thanks for putting this so beautifully. May I forward this with your blessing? Shenachie |
