Sunday's Child There you are, exactly where I thought you would be. You can't fool me! Hiding behind the cause of another, laced tightly, escaping eyes behind the blue. I found you once, on my nightstand, pictured in a hold, a smile marking your face like invisible ink, to disappear as quickly as it came. Passion is in the air, winds taxing its pull, the innocence long gone in these "summertime blues" of heaviness, moistening this body. The music feigns agony as the vibrations trap me into the impossible, dreams that crowd the unknown intervening as daylight arrives. "Parting is such sweet sorrow" as I drink what can't be held, for I fill very quickly and weaken after a few. You could traipse me, map me with your touches, as I try to hold back the laughter of sensitivity... but the sun awaits and the ocean calls to put to rest my "Kaleidoscopic views". M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
