Remote, early morning, day shimmering alive across pewter seas. Nothing closeby stirred, rythmic lulled waves whisper, call me. Sedately my feet tread gingerly over slippery smooth rocks. Like standing before a huge fall, a forceful power of water sighed for me approach. Wading, losing balance, falling, bobbing, thoughts departed like flotsem, releasing me from myself, chanting in mind my final plea, emptying memory; ''My master hear, take me home, take me home take me home.... ..to thee...''. Desire for nothing except desirelessness, hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. it is in these moments, I think, we realize, the fragile delecate threads of life, feeling them tug us, asking us to let go of the conditioning, and swath in the here and now...that is what you poem does dear friend...giving food for thought for the moment...I'm diving back in for another feel of this... taking a deep breath while waving a thank you... |

I was ebbed by the words, sensed the salty breeze in its carry .... and towed back to this moment with a sense of refreshed outlook of the new day .... great write! |
