the arms on my watch curve circles in the air ahead of me the sun approaches dusk slowly it reaches the great lake seeming to sink into the deep blue abyss where secrets are stored on the ancient ocean floor from all the reefs and to the unexplored deep where old pirate treasures sleep without time long lost gold and blue green jewels of centuries ago the fish are rich , with my love and copper coins a wish you made some ten years ago forgot till now you surly did the passions of your past not thinking they would last so long .... into the now reality the ever present second that never rests and always reminds the sand was between my toes and i didn't care sometimes slight discomfort leads to grand joy a leap into the cool glassy aqua a dip out of this world and into another the fluid of life itself what were made of overall the sun was now below the horizon soon to be night and filled with stars from afar they twinkle onward as the moon takes to the stage -JW III - -5/28/2005- |
