I suffer this annihilation
of my world
through your words
   of impatience

as though you are angry
for unknown reasons
to my mind

and no longer is
your heart defined
in textures of understanding
  yet always,

     always

you are demanding
more than I'm sure
I can keep on giving.

I can't awaken from this dream
it appears I'm living
so shake me,
awaken me
I beg of you please;

restore my world
with love and peace.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
