I behold the water striders, such the tiny craft they row. Skating free on suface tension 'bove the murky depths below. These are fascinating creatures, aptly suited to their place, for what little they displace is made up for in style and grace. Unlike those of us much larger, who displace more than our share sending all the water striders on a plane trip through the air! Bummer! All you water striders, but, it's Summer, and this pool is about to be invaded by us giants, keeping cool! |
