Lost If I lost you my love I'd be cast adrift No way to hold on, I'd fall through the rift Full of sorrow, and regrets, no life without hope How my soul cries would I ever, ever cope When my regrets Replace my dreams That shall be the time Of my mourning For our dreams Are the rainbows We slide down Making our days sing And our hearts glad If I couldn't see you my love, I'd truly die In wretched sorrow I'd weep, and I'd cry Bemused and dazed I just couldn't go on How can a soul last if its lost its true song When my eyes Cannot see wonder But instead Are fogged with despair That shall be the time Of my desperation For wonders And small miracles Make each day Bright with promise If I couldn't hold you, where would I be? Bereft of warmth, I'd freeze utterly How does a heart feel if its dead and cold? Timid, and shy, instead of bright and bold When I lose my soul In sadness and sorrow And I don't feel the joy That infuses my being That shall be the time Of my torment For joy keeps me alive And eager for The adventure of living If I couldn't reach for you, not touch your soul I'd be empty, nothing inside just a huge dark hole With a void within, I'd be naught but a shell No reason to go forward, drear and unwell When my spirit dies Expires for want of love And I don't feel Love's pure touch Caressing my senses Then shall be the time Of my ending For love is the only reason To keep going onward If I couldn't have your love, I'd surely fade Like a shadow I can't live in nights eternal shade You are my light, I live by your grace With you in my life, everything I can face When my heart reverberates Sings glories of delight Rings with the sound Of Love's utter wonder That is the time of My deliverance For only now that love Enthuses and enlivens My soul, my heart Do I understand The meaning of truth If I lost you my love, where would I be Lost and alone, devoid of company For your love gifts me with truth and light I know in my heart all will be right Marsha Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

It's good to see those pink letters form words of beauty and love again. I've missed them my dear mushy friend. Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Hi you all, thank you so very much for reading this bit of nonsense of mine. I'm glad you all enjoyed it, but frankly I know I have and can o a lot better. I do have a valid reason this isn't pure poetic perfection, I have been quite ill this week, there seems to be a bug going about and naturally enough I've caught it. Naturally enough, because every time there's a bug it comes and seeks me out. Anyway thank you all, every one of you are amazingly sweet to keep me fondly in your memories and believe me when I say it, each one of you are tucked into the fond remember of mine. Take care all, I'll be back in soon, I hope to read and reply as always Mushy xx xx xx Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

A bug seeks you out? Seems to me like there's only ONE poetic person to call upon, who can make you ALL better! To reiterate the obvious, you HAVE been missed, m'friend... and it is so good to see you come HOME again! |

This, my lady... is wonderful!!! You took words I loved... and wove them into a tapestry so incredible I can no longer imagine them standing alone. *S* Beautiful work from a beautiful heart... Feel better soon, my friend... |
