Harvest, 2005 Grinding, machines halt Summer’s grain filling red skies Winter’s wheat, given Crops fair, depending; some weren’t Those farmers? They linger on. |

Serenity...I finally did it...and made bread [again] in this new place....and it was good...but it will be better...[the oven temp is off, y'know?] but mortar, pestle? Yes, these I have, and will send pic.... Martie? God bless you, little one...I think it has to do with K's...or something...I do feel more at home here, but I still miss the song of the sea...so I need to come back...soon...yes, soon...and back to the other LA, too.... yes...to the LA's..... You gals are so good to me! |

ninety five and climbing higher, as the combines reap the fields, Kind of looks like that there Pac-Man, Eating ghosts, with so-so yields... Yep, the harvest in full swing here as I suspect as it is 60 miles up old 81. |

What pulled me in was the title, "Harvest" doesn't happen unless something has been nurtured.. What remained after reading was inspiration.. I guess that is a form of "taking away" I am always pleased when I click your name.. The worlds cereal: The earth yields with luck and care; Gold/grain on thin stalks Wave in the prairie breezes, Beckoning the lingerers. |

well, you've made me want to go out and purchase a tractor and cultivater...and harvest away...simply beautiful, pulling me to the center of understanding the importance of each and every grain...hugs you...have a wonderful weekend |

Oh I do love this.. My oldest son just bought a small farm. Using all antique implements..should prove interesting. He does know how to persevere, he found me after 36 years. This made me long to go visit him... think I'll do just that. Hugs, Nancy ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Hmm, something about this write makes me think it was written by a talented Kansas girl! May you reap the fruits of all the glorious seeds that you have sown in life! Hugs with love, Linda |

ahhh... when I was growing up in Indiana, I had to go get allergy shots when they started with the hay... man, I hated that. Those shots hurt! I love Florida. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
