as for the tiles of life, a well-loved habit
somewhat autonomous with face
face of plausible roots, like a spotlight
of afternoon staring wide-eyed deep into
a chafing wind

as day walks, streets of silk
functioning, in large capacity
living a transformative force
in unlimited fashion, which never
destroys and each day becomes
hopelessly confident

it never damages…
and we don’t have forever to get-together
with this extreme richness of feeling
to touch unique intensity of thoughts
in the landscape of soul

a voice of expression, indispensable
flashes light, murmuring what we
dream of hearing, touching, feeling,
with full tanks of quality time
and a twenty four hour nurse
the 101 of affirming words
which act and communicate
a dialect of emotional patterns
appreciated
love

I too, got my appreciation of this from "tiles of life" as I've a particular fondness for mosaic, which is a very apt metaphor, methinks, for life.
