Everything That Love Requires

"My sincere desire,
   to do everything
    that love requires."

No ones ever fallen
in love with me,
I made sure of that,
I give them such
   a hard time
that sooner or later
they pull back.

Still there is a woman
   close to me,
a woman my heart desires,
and I want her love
so desperately (passionately,
honestly) and I'm willing to do
everything that love requires.
