Love and people, love and people, go together like a roof and rafters but you can’t see both, no you can’t see both, you can’t see both for ever after. Love and honour, love and honour, live together on the Isle of Magic because here they’re seen, yes because they’re seen, because they’re seen as awfully tragic. Love and schemers, love and schemers, don’t go anywhere at all together because rain comes down, yes the rain comes down, the rain comes down in any weather. Love and dreamers, love and dreamers, miss the corner into reality because dreamers think, yes the dreamers think, dreamers think of only fantasy. Men and women, men and women, walk in circles round the hope of marriage because they can’t dance, yes they can’t dance, because they can’t dance inside a … carriage! |

Helen You must be in a good mood...I'd love to hold your hand and skip down the street singing this, but I think it would require a mood adjustment for me. |

Sea - thanks for the read. Martie - Just very far from sleep this cold winter's night! A little skipping can do wonders for one's mood, you know. Here, take my hand - there's magic in a hand but, seriously, I hope the sun soon shines brighter for you. Hugs. Jo - Thanks. I think I resort to ditties almost in desperation but ... don't tell anyone. |
