I can't fix what's broke with you
but, atleast I can relate
We can walk together a while
and feel each other's ache

I certainly won't take away
all the pain you have inside
I'm still fighting too
and just like you,
along for the ride

I won't tell you it's okay
when even I deep down know better
But, walk with me my friend
two broken-hearts together

We can reflect on yesterday
laugh and smile and regret
yet knowing that we have each other
and the ride, ain't over yet

One more day, one more step
one more bone of courage more
One more story, one more tear
and, we'll leave this one at the door

Ache leaves, as it comes
like a theif in the night
walk with me today
and together, we'll be alright

I thought this was absoultely BEAUTIFUL!! You are such a great friend to write some thing like this for them.
I will be saving this one...so the next time I have a friend that needs a hug...I can send this one to them ~ if that is okay with you that is.
