It's not    as if
I could feel anything
after you bled
my emotions dry
and left me there
in the scorching
after math of the moment

thirsting

for a single tear,
a touch of dew
   a drop of rain

        anything....

that could make my soul
awaken again..

Storm clouds swirl
ever ominous,
    ever present

keeping at bay
the release I seek
from this darkness
overpowering me,

breaking my
spirit

Weakened

I have begged
but the screams
have now faded
turning to whispers,

through the silence
of my own stillness

I still
  am here
     praying for rain....

{my muse has been absent,

}

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~

Sunnylady...omg...I don't think I could
even attempt to write as Mari does
and truly that would be an honour,
I am just pleased that she could jog
my muse into wanting to pick up a pen
again.
