Between the Lines

It's in the missing of
that I am captured in
where the moon meets the highlights
of memories that persist
and the words...
the words hug my insides
not wanting to be freed until...
they are secreted
to never fade
where tomorrow
always remains
untitled.

I dream this silence
wanting to share a shadow's whisper,
touching those places
where you have touched me
in both body and mind.
