Wanting Her Yesterday

To say that I
don't understand
this relationship
would be a fair
statement.
At least not the parts
I want to understand.
If I look at what I
have I have plenty,
but when I start
thinking about what
I don't have,
which seems to
be the dominant
force, thats where
substance suffers
and desire
carrys me away
to a place where
I always want more
and patience doesn't
seem to have too
much to say
to a man
that wants what
he wants and was
wanting her yesterday.
