Much more attuned to softer sounds, so harsh, appears the day.
In subtle tones is slumber found, desist, and go away.
Your strident calls offend these ears which much prefer to doze,
among the dulcet melodies sweet Morpheus composed.

Your daylight sounds a marching band, demanding to intrude,
upon my sleeping symphony, performed in solitude.
Arrest your clamor in mid-step, your pomp and circumstance
are deemed no less than crass and crude,
while I remain entranced.

By sounds that wash on windswept shores on waves that soothe the soul.
With no more thought of marching bands
or, daylights' taken toll,
than "Brahms' might give to " Sousa" should they ever chance to meet,
the one in glaring contrast to the other, sounding sweet.

So slide me into liquid, slip me back into the stream,
of sounds performed as prelude to an everlasting dream.

Don't know HOW you do what you do ...
but this totally captivates me~

'So slide me into liquid, slip me back into the stream,
of sounds performed as prelude to an everlasting dream.'

Sy,
Thanks so much, as I've said before, coming from you, 'tis high praise indeed.
Doc

Dear Marge,
Once again, what can one say when the idolized share, but, thank you so much, you're always an inspiration.
Doc

KJ,
And again, my thanks. You are all busy people who take the time to reply, where as,
I am sorely lacking. I wave my fools' cap in salute, for it is I who miss the opportunity, and you who will benefit.
