Standing

I stand upon an alters stone
In weary flesh and weary bone
Watching rainbows colored hews
Beckoning my minds refuse

It beckons me with fairy tales
Offers me a wind to sail
Laying down a carpets blue
A way of understanding you

No longer can I fight the tide
Nor can I stay the stones abide
And know that I will turn to grime
Passing with the sands of time

My spirit walks a lonely path
Singular and full of wrath
Charging wind mills in the rain
Heedless of the strain and pain

I howl into a night of blue
Is that a howl I hear from you?

A long-away, lonesome call...
out, standing, in a field somewhere...

Good morning Sy...

Went river-festivaling in the rain yesterday...this, is for you...

Unbrellas dancing
Feet kept time with all that jazz
Music for the rain

This is a bittersweet beauty of fragile humilty me sweet Sy...written as only you can...making me *sigh* as only you can.

Well Sy, I don't think it was an echo of your own howl..
Probably me howling back.
Wonderful wonderful morning read.

I can see you standing straight and strong in the winds of time.

You are pouring your spirit into your verses, where it revives everything.

Nothing like howling to the night sky possibly with the moon grinning brightly, howling back ...

Seymooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuur ! Hear my own howl?

And the moon goes on with its knowing smile ...

Good night, dear Poet Seymour.
Love and joy!

I see you upon wind washed deck
Saving your ship from rocks that wreck
Your eyes seach the coast for harbor
To your muse who waits in arbor

With magic words that touch the soul I envision a man whose dreams are bold...I love the trips to fantasy land your words take me on...They feed the soul of us who dream such dreams...Well done..*hugs*
