Not to be taken Seriously The whale blows, the elephant knows The glow worm glows and the crow crows All are signatures of lament All are signals of intent All species have a signal flare Only humans show undeclared We do not walk in nature’s path Often as not take a cold bath The preference of a symbols cue Something that says that I want you It is a rainbows colored hike Perhaps a finger in the dyke What ever it is, it is there It is a maelstrom of declare Dictating by a force of tide Weather you bloom or weather you hide Yet I have found some who have said A bed, is a bed, is a bed. |
