Whispers Come Body slims and trims off fat, pocketing love that resides in the corner of the mind. Exercising thoughts, stretching, thickening the muscle around the heart, sparking wires that connect and transport those whispers that come. Delayed reactions, truth in dreaming, breaking the hold, tattooing notice upon the skin, breathing in whisper words to ease the sting. Numbing the screams of mixed emotions judging only yesterday, leaving today to destiny and the crimson flush that a red rosed memory brings to the cheeks. Off rhythm, sleeping awake eying the moon, fullness hazed waiting, always waiting ... spreading me thin. Oh if removal was as easy as a slice, I might do it once or thrice, But if not just body but spirit I might try to carefully fillet it, There would be no fear of red Let it flow if the fat be shed, Liposuction my soul Remove some parts and reveal the whole. Gloom |
