Essence of my inner self, abandoned carelessly, without murmur. Dark dream highways, i hitchhike down, hoping. Lightest of hearts, of imagination, you cannot hope to match me? How vast is the universe? How strong the sun's heat? Others are pale imitations, your heart i place on a island, bejeweled with dazzling sunlit ocean, beryl skies of aqua dreams. You planted the seeds of your eyes, deep within the soul garden of me. They dwell in a barren winter sweep, disturbing in fitful sleep. Love comforteth like sunshine after rain. (William Shakespeare.) |

I especially liked these lines....great poem! ~ARH We attract hearts by the qualities we display, we retain them by the qualities we possess.~Jean Baptiste Antoine Suard |
