Thirty-four years Of laughter and tears Babies and diapers And runny nose wipers, Caring and sharing, And living and giving, Thirty-four years, Of our hopes and our fears, Successes and failures, And illness and cures, School programs boring, Forgive please my snoring, Thirty-four years, Of home and careers, Working and playing, Of loving and praying, Four children are born, Lost family we mourn, A grandson arrives, On with our lives, Thirty-four years Of laughter and tears, You’ve been my wife, My love and my life. Connie and I have made it another year. I think after thirty-four years I am starting to wear her down and although she could do better, she has decided I will do for another year or two... /pip/Forum79/HTML/003196.html |
