Anne marie, she strums the syllables of rain and taps the cloud covers with musician fingers, she hears cicadas sing and laments her lover this purple eve, with tears that stream the shattered windows never blessed with rosecolored awnings, Anne marie, she hears the night's cicados sing, in the wrapping haze of dawns white silence, she whispers with musician fingers. not at all what I expected from the title...and I'm more in awe. A beautiful piece! Susan, I can see her profile picture, the one on the left side of the poem, if that's what you mean...I wasn't on earlier to see if she added a picture to go along with her poem...so I'm not sure what pic you are talking about... |
