I am missing you today my heart In an unfinished symphony The half sketched plans of forever Sorrow is not my attire Nor the attitude I wear Perhaps you see my thoughts Sunning themselves on alabaster shores And I could dream eternal spring Green to flower early mornings That images unwind their flavors Sweet and cool upon my mind For as I heard the complexity of trauma Masked in jovial grin and tart retort I saw who you really are A man of vision and principles Though bitter is the insulin disguised We have sought a simple path revised Yet I pursue my soul in quiet hum Finding more and deeper dreams to come Floating with you on the surfaces of sound Close encounters echo softly all around Opening my shell to slowly yield the pearl I want revealed If it is change you shun I cannot defeat the coming and leaving And harshly sometimes truth is heard But softly to impress upon you the earnest of my visions To intimate and well relate this song The strong of pure and honest love One I cannot keep within the bounds More than I have ever known astounds my core More, the tingling taste of life lived well With you, in safe and certain places dwell And what we have is found and fair Made to glade for being there Copyright Kkh 06/06/05 |

Wow....especially the closing lines, very nicely done. You dream...right here, as each line paints a vision so well. |
